The new Scarbee is phenomenal and a totally different instrument than the totally useable first version Honestly, between the two I’ve moved my suitcase into storage. Has anyone compared Soniccouture Canterbury/Acoustic Samples E-Piano or Gospel Musicians Neo Soul Keys Studio with the Pianoteq Electric Pianos? I've been playing around with the Pianoteq Electric Pianos and I've been amazed at how deep you can customize and tweak the sound! Also, Pianoteq is constantly being developed and updated for more realism so I guess it's future proofed.Īre there any other better options I've missed? It sounds more realistic and organic.įrom listening to some quick demo's of the other Rhodes VST's I'm also really liking the Soniccouture Canterbury Suitcase, Acoustic Samples - E-Piano and Gospel Musicians Neo Soul Keys Studio but there doesn't appear to be any demos to download and try. I definitely prefer the Pianoteq mkI to the Scarbee Mark I. It is also highly tweakable down to adjusting the sound of every note individually. I already own Pianoteq 6 Pro and am really impressed with the demo of the MKI. Here's a list of the current Rhodes VST's that I've found so far :. I'm currently using the Scarbee MKI and GSI Mr Ray mkII but I would like something a little more realistic including mechanical noises etc!
